Ken helped my fiancé and I find a home in the Summer of 2020. Despite the fact we were first-time home buyers, were purchasing our home in a very challenging market for buyers, and we had a distinct yet not well articulated taste in homes, Ken worked with us step by step over the course of months across half of the state of Connecticut to show us homes. On multiple occasions he went above and beyond to reach out to the seller agents and express our interest. His contacts in the industry even set us up with an excellent lender who personally called the seller agents on our behalf to reassure the sellers of our sound credit. Ken was very knowledgeable of the process, took his time to listen to what we thought and provide his balanced guidance to us at each step of the way. Being first-time homebuyers, Ken was clear and communicative and was honest when he thought something we wanted wasn't going to work - offering alternatives when possible. Additionally, Ken often helped us during the home-showing process, pointing out parts of homes where there could be potentially problems or areas we would want to focus on with an inspector or in our offer letter, and pointing out other areas where a simple fix or change could be made to remedy our concerns. Very disappointed with the whole process of selling our house. We spoke to Ken a year prior to actually listing our house, and were fooled by his presentation. First he listed our house on Zillow 3 days before our contract was signed, he made an adjustment to our signed sales agreement without notifying us after it was signed by all parties, he showed up at our 1:00 open house at exactly 1:00 and did not ever return texts or phone calls in a reasonable time. He never once listed our house in a newspaper or contacted us during the closing. We were dealing with 2 other realtors in 2 other states where we sold a condo and purchased a home. Therefore we do have comparisons of how a 5 star realtor works. We chose our 2 out of state realtors after reading their reviews on Zillow. We were not planning on posting this review however after reading an ad in the Citizens News stating to read Ken’s Zillow reviews, we felt it was necessary to share our experience.

I recently needed to upgrade to a 3 bedroom condo. I had been renting a 2 bedroom unit with my 2 children. I very much wanted to stay in Beacon Falls in order to keep my kids in their school system. Being a small town, It's pretty rare for a 3 bedroom condo to come on the market. Ken found this unit and we were in there checking it out hours later!
